Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Fishing Florida Flats. By booking a fishing charter with us, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Booking and Payment
A deposit is required to secure your reservation with Fishing Florida Flats. The remaining balance is due on the day of your trip unless otherwise agreed. We accept Cash and Credit Cards. Prices are subject to change without notice until a booking is confirmed.

2. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellations made 72 hrs prior to the scheduled trip will receive a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations made within 72 hrs will forfeit the deposit. No-shows or same-day cancellations will be charged the full trip price.
Weather-related cancellations are determined solely by the captain. If a trip is canceled due to unsafe weather conditions, you will be offered the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.

3. Weather Conditions
Your safety is our top priority. Trips may be rescheduled or canceled due to severe weather, unsafe sea conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances. Light rain or cloudy conditions do not automatically result in cancellation.

4. Safety and Conduct
All passengers must follow the captain’s instructions at all times. Fishing Florida Flats reserves the right to terminate a trip without refund if any participant behaves in a reckless, unsafe, or unlawful manner, including but not limited to intoxication, harassment, or refusal to comply with safety rules.

5. Licensing and Regulations
All required fishing licenses and permits will be provided unless otherwise stated. Guests must comply with all local, state, and federal fishing regulations, including size and bag limits.

6. Liability Waiver
By participating in a charter, you acknowledge that fishing and boating activities involve inherent risks. Fishing Florida Flats, its captains, and affiliates are not liable for any injuries, loss, or damage to personal property that may occur during the trip, except where required by law.

7. Personal Property
Guests are responsible for their personal belongings. We recommend bringing only essential items. Fishing Florida Flats is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property.

8. Alcohol and Drugs
Alcohol is permitted in moderation unless otherwise stated. Illegal drugs are strictly prohibited. The captain reserves the right to end the trip without refund if substance use compromises safety.

9. Trip Duration and Itinerary
Trip durations are approximate and may vary due to weather, tides, or other factors. The captain will make reasonable efforts to provide the best possible fishing experience but does not guarantee catch success.

10. Media Release
Fishing Florida Flats may take photos or videos during your trip for promotional purposes. By booking, you grant permission for Fishing Florida Flats to use this content unless you request otherwise in writing prior to the trip.

11. Changes to Terms
Fishing Florida Flats reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
